Great Chiropractic Care, extras are odd and service is pushy
This was my first time to a chiropractor. I was experiencing severe back and neck pain and the treatments did wonders for me. Dr. Durrett is an extremely skilled chiropractor and I would recommend her for that in a heartbeat. She was also very good at explaining the process and what I would experience so that I was not freaked out by the sounds and the experiences.
That being said, chiropractic care is not the only service that they offer. They also do acupuncture, chi balancing, and other services of that type.
After a few sessions, one of the office assistants sat down with me to discuss my treatment plan. She told me that, based upon my current condition, I was going to need a chiropractic treatment three times a week for the next six months then we would taper off the treatments until it was down to once a month sometime in the next year. But what really got me was the $3,000 of acupuncture that she was recommending and some other treatment that was several thousand dollars that they had not even explained to me.
The best part was that they offered to give me a 20% discount if I paid for it all up front to the tune of $10,000. When I told her that there was no way I was going to do that, she handed me a brochure and told me that they offered financing.
There was no way I was going to finance $3,000 worth of acupuncture. The whole suggestion was absurd. She was also very forceful about it and told me that I would be doing a disservice to myself if I went somewhere else.
They also had advertsiments for Scientology meetings, which I thought was odd.
