I found Dr. Niks office through reccomendation from friends. I decided to visit him for my foot pain. I have flat feet and after a long thorough exam we decided on orthotic treatment. After receiving the orthotics virtually all of the discomfort was gone. I'm very please with the service and care that Dr. Nik provided.

Went to see Dr. Nik with severe heel pain. I had been to several podiatrists before him and tried many different treatments that never worked. But, Dr. Nik asked all the right questions and spent a lot of time addressing my pain. He came across very experienced. He did not overcharge me or my insurance and his price for a injection he gave me and orthotics were very fair compared to the other doctors that I had been to before. The orthotics fit very comfortably and I can't believe that my heel pain is actually GONE after just a few weeks. I would highly recommend him.

The orthotics he made me almost ruined my knees. My physical therapists were puzzled: "She has great arches -- why would he make them like this?" I don't think he looked at my knees or ankles (despite the business name). Instead he was so busy cutting my callouses -- later I found out that he was chargin my insurance companies almost $800 per visit for these "surgeries"! No woner.

He also wanted to make me THREE pairs of orthotics at least ("one for athletic shoes, one for sandals, one for . . .") and wanted me to come back every "couple of months" for these profitable callouse surgeries and insisted that I was "too young" to be having these problems and that he could see in my face that I was in pain." Did he see CASH in my face? To be fair, he did correct the orthotics (he took off the heels) on the second visit. But I still don't trust them -- he only looked at me walk up and down the office and didn't spend much time checking my ankles or knees.
