My 2002 Infiniti Q45 started having a service indicator - due to emissions system error. Turns out one catalytic converter was broken. Infiniti quoted $2000 parts plus labor, another muffler shop quoted over $2,000. Downtown muffler seemed to understand it better, quoted me $540 total and did the work in 1.5 hours while I waited! I was very impressed with the employees and their knowledge. I truly feel I got the lowest price for far superior service.

I have been doing business with these guys for the past 12 years. They have installed complete exhaust systems on all my cars. I took my Honda Prelude to them a couple of months ago for a new catalyst converter. Dealership wanted about $1200. Downtown Muffler did the job for one quarter of the cost and plus the catalyst converter is a high flow design matched to a maximum flow muffler. What does that mean? Simple. I was getting 100 miles to a half of tank of gas. Now I get 149 miles to the half. I went from 19 to 20 MPG in town to 20 to 24 MPG. These people won't do you wrong. You WILL get more bang for your buck. While you are there grab a handful of their business cards and hand them out your friends. Great people! Fantastic business!!!

Considering the VW dealership was going to charge me $1200 for a new cat converter, I decided to let my fingers do the walking in the yellow pages. I called several places before I called Downtown Muffler. They gave me a quote immediately over the phone and were very friendly. My friend went with me to pick up my car and she said she wants to use them too for her car. I was even late picking my car up and they waited longer for me. They are honest, fair, and super nice. I will go there as much as I can from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! A+++++++
