I love the ice cream here! The hot dogs and burgers are standard diner quality, in my opinion. There are other items such as bologna sandwich and pimento sandwich, but I've never tried these. The chili is slightly on the watery side. But, the ice cream makes up for it all. Sometimes we come by just for ice cream! A lot of regulars eat here. They only accept cash.

ive been going to doss' since they opened in 1985. i love the atmosphere, food, family, they really care about their customers. the husband and wife team along with their three daughters make this a place to go to have a good laugh..they are a wild and crazy group. the food is delicious, the ice cream is wonderful, and they have a long history in the community. they make it a habit to remember your order....so no long waits for your food....wait...sometimes thats not to good, cause you really wanna hang around and get in on the lastest gossip sometimes!! doss' rocks my socks :O) ~~its where the clowns are~

I grew up in kernersville and I fell in love with Doss's my first outing. I was like 3 years old. My family has lived there for decades and Doss's is by far my favorite food. I hope they never close down because where else will you find a foot long hotdog with fries and a sweet tea for like $4! IT is incredible there. they have so many flavors of old fashioned ice cream to choose from. I wish they could ship me hot dogs in memphis because i am seriously going through withdrawals with out them!

Doss' restaurant is very similar to the other popular Bill & Leah's. This is a sit down, fast paced restaurant with very affordable prices. Specials start at just under $4.00. Ice cream selection is great ... many, many to choose from. Whether you are looking for a hamburger or a jumbo ice cream cone, you won't be disappointed here. Located conveniently off of N. Main St. in Kernersville with ample parking and seating!
