We were told that Don Jacobs had changed their sales tactics, so we went there Saturday 2/23 to see for ourselves. We picked out a Honda CRV and were given a price by the salesman, Tom. He then went to get it approved by his sales manager, and it was in fact approved. We left with the price written on the back of Tom's business card. This morning (Monday) when we called to arrange purchase and pick up of the car we were told Oh, I forgot to add on the protection package, so it's going to be another $340. I told him that was unacceptable and we expected to pay the price he gave us for the car. He refused to do so. So Tom, are you dishonest or incompetent? In my personal opinion, those would seem to be the only choices in this case. And the irony is that we saved money by looking elsewhere for the same car. Lesson learned as well, we will never be back to Don Jacobs.

All in all I have been very impressed with the service I have received at Don Jacobs. When I had a flat tire, a service tech drove to me to put on the spare. With no extra charge. Everyone seems very friendly.

PROS: They also have a childrens area in the waiting room for entertainment.
CONS: No real competition in the area. Always booked.
