Great facilities, NOT so great staff‎
We were wowed by the facilities here. A pool! A library! A barn with live animals in it! How could you go wrong, right? Wrong. The staff have that glazed look in their eyes. No connection and lacking warmth with the students. It just felt cold and not a nurturing environment. It isn't a bad school, it just isn't a great school. Not what it used to be. They really are more of a "preschool factory" trying to crank out as many students as possible. The director doesn't know all the childrens names. However, if you are more interested in facilities and exposing your child to as much learning as possible (but not necessarily fun learning...they rely on workbooks in older classes) but don't care about things like nurturing and having your child feel special then this would be a good school for you. Some people are only interested in education while others are interested in the whole child's experience.‎

Great preschool -love the teachers, love...‎
I'm not sure why this other person is concerned about whether the owners own other properties. I know they own another school as well. This doesn't concern me, I only care about getting the best education for my kids. I have been at Discovery for the last two years and the teachers and staff are wonderful. My two children are learning and enjoy being at school, and whether or not the owners own other properties is not the point. The people they hire to run the school are fantastic, are very interested in giving the kids a great learning experience, and all the teachers are excellent. It is a warm and enriching environment and I would not hesitate to tell my friends and family to send their kids there. I looked around a lot as well before I signed up, and Discovery gets the highest rating for quality teaching and quality people.‎
