Not only do these people not care about their customers, they are also dishonest. Normally everyone gives a designer or contractor discount of !0 - 20% to licensed professionals. What this company does is inflate the retail price so that the designer actually pays retail and the retail customer pays retail+.

Bottom Line: You can do better.

Rudest people work here. I have never walked in here when there wasn't an argument happening between a client and an employee there. I myself have bought tile twice there and each time I've had to argue with them about the purchase and it has been an unpleasent experience. The prices are decent, but I would gladly pay more for basic customer service and I will never go back.

I have never seen such disregard bordering on disgust for the customer. We made the mistake of getting tile for our kitchen and thought we were willing to overlook a little neglect and curt handling from the sales staff in order to get a good price. In hindsight I would have gladly paid a little more for basic customer service. These people are awful to deal with, don't be a victim!!!

The girl that works there can barely speak English. They promise you samples then when they don't arrive you have to chase after these people. Then they make up some bogus story about losing your information. When you finally get that straightened out they tell you it will be $15.00 FOR ONE LITTLE SAMPLE! Hello!! Why was I not told this in the beginning as I sat here with my project on hold waiting for the promised samples.These people do not know what they are doing..I am taking my business somewhere else! I'd strongly advise the same for you if you want to complete your project!! Don't waste your time as I did.

I did get a discount on the tile I purchased, but after several weeks of promising me a sample, it never came and I had to order it sight unseen. Perhaps that's to be expected when you save $3 per square foot! It turned out okay, but I probably wouldn't work with them again.

The major disappointment I had with them was over the countertop surface I wanted. They rep a quartz product I like and recommended an installer to give me a bid. They bid on the project and it came up to $100 per square foot. I called Discount Tile Center back and told them their installer's bid was more than twice the price quoted in the store for the raw material. They seemed unconcerned and said he was the only guy they could recommend.

I called the local number for the quartz countertop company and they gave me a couple of names to call. The fabricator / installer I chose was extremely professional and charged me about $60 per square foot for the exact same product, saving me about $1,700 over Discount Tile Center.
