Please don't try to change your services with Direct TV as they are completely ridiculous to deal with, my husband and I are getting a divorce and I wanted the service in my name, we had been with them 10 years and were not under a contract, our bill was always paid on time or early, they told me and him even though I had my own phone # in my name they could not cancel his contract and give me service at the same address for two years? What do they do when new owners or renters move into a current home that had service, make them wait two years ???
I really did not care to discuss my personal life with them but after they continued to call and harress me finally had to tell them what was going on in our life.
Well that wasn't enough, they were suppose to be here one week to install equipment, and sent an installer out here with 1 new receiver when there should have been the dish and three receivers, so had to be rescheduled the following week. When installer didn't show up as per appointment I called them. They then informed me I was under investigation and would have to call another #. Calling the other # of course it goes to voice mail, it was so and so with the fraud division.
I am still waiting to find out what that's all about if they ever return my call.
Needless to say this company is not worth the trouble they put you through to get their services and I would recommend you go with someone else for your TV services and your sanity as they are complete idiots to deal with.
Pros : Have found found none, we just used them because in rural didn't have a choice
