I would like to share my very unsatisfactory experience with Di Franco fencing.
I very carefully shopped to find a fence builder to fence my property approximately 8 years ago.
Of all the companies I chose Di franco mostly because I was impressed by what seemed to be their stated philosophy of standing by their work.
While installing the fence I witnessed the workers simply dumping bags of concrete into the post holes and then putting a hose into each whole and filling it.
I went and asked them about it and they responded by saying that the posts were good for 30 years and I had nothing to worry about.
Although I knew this was not the proper way to install the posts, I felt confident that if they were to fail the company would stand by their work. My bad I guess
but still no excuse to be given the lame response I later received from the company later.
Sure enough 4 to 5 years later 10 or so posts were found to be loose, rotted and broken off at the base.
I found this unacceptable. My wife called Di Franco fencing while I was out of town on business and Mr. Di Franco himself came out while we were not at home to inspect the fence and our complaint.
Upon my return, I find that he had left a voice mail message taking no responsibility whatsoever saying he had not seen anything like it before, and that maybe my irrigation lines or a high winter water line, may have caused the problem.
This was not the case and certainly no excuse for the failure of the product.
Di Franco Fencing did offer to replace the posts at a cost of over $100 per post.

After listening to this lame excuse for bad workmanship and seeing the real side of Di Franco fencing customer service I felt no reason to follow up any further as they obviously had no interest in standing by their work or maintaining me as a satisfied customer.
I felt it much more satisfying to remove their name from my fen
