Yelled at by Driver. Customer Service No Help
I've been an avid user of Dial7 for several years... Averaging 3-5 trips per month.. Average fair ~$100.

You never knew what you were going to get from the drivers, but I had Dial7 programmed into my favorites and it had just become easy and routine

Today I booked a 4pm pick-up on 19th Street to catch a business flight from LGA. I got held up trying to get out of the office and arrived downstairs at 4:05. As soon as we sat down in the car the driver, enraged, began yelling at my colleague and I about a ticket he had just received for leaving the car in a no standing zone. We apologized and explained we were only 5 minutes late. He became enraged, yelling at us from the front seat. "I can't afford this ticket, are you going to pay this ticket!" I asked the driver to let us out of the car if he intended to berate us all the way to the airport. He clearly he did intend to yell at us because he pulled over and continued to yell some more as we took our own luggage out of the trunk.

A call to customer service yielded the following exchange. "Well you have to understand the driver's point of view, you were late." Me, "Less than 5 minutes, and we apologized, but he was totally out of line." Him, "What do you want me to do?... You want me to fire him? What am I supposed to do? He has to pay that ticket."

Goodbye Dial7.... and Good Riddance.

WORST Service Ever
I have to say I think this is one of the worst services ever. Not only was my driver late, I loaded my own luggage in the car. Me, a little petite 20-something gal. Also he drove while talking on the phone the whole time in another language...um, a little rude, no?

Also, he kind of sneered as I took my luggage out, yet again, once we arrived at my hotel.

WORST PART OF ALL:

I had to fight them because the driver put HIS OWN TIP on my receipt! Say whaaa?!? Who does that?! It's like going to a restaurant, getting bad service, and the waiter deciding, "I think I'm gonna give myself a big huge tip!"

On top of that, he didn't even give me my receipt, so I had to find that nice addition once I got my credit card statement, then talk to 2 people at the company that tried to defend said crazy driver. He seriously at least should be reprimanded and I think that's just a tad illegal to add that.

Seriously people, think twice about using this company. I've used companies in LA that are way nicer and not shiesty!

Sleepless for Nothing
After reading so many negative reviews about this car service, I decided I should write about my experience. The reviews I read the night before my scheduled trip from Uptown NYC to LI caused me to lose a lot of sleep. Would they show up on time? Answer: They came 10 minutes early. Would someone call to say the car was downstairs? Yes, I was approaching the car when my cell phone rang confirming the driver had arrived. Would the car smell bad or be dirty? No to both questions. Was the driver smelly or too talkative? You guessed it, neither was the case. Did he know where he was going? Once I gave him the address, no problem. He programmed GPS and off we went. I slept most of the way, as my trip was very early in the morning. Price? Exactly as quoted over the phone, plus a tip and tolls. And, we arrived about 20 minutes earlier than expected. I don't doubt any of the negative experiences other customers had. But, my trip was uneventful. Just wanted to let you know.

Ruined a special night!
I chose Tel-aviv Limo service which turned out to be Dial 7 limo for my engagement (tel-aviv quoted me a lower price even though they are the same company!). I called to verify my 8-pass limo reservation after making it online. They said the driver would call me once he arrived. Since this was a surprise, I waited for the call but did not receive one. I ended up calling the 800 number to find out where the limo was and it turned out he was at the location but decided not to call! After we got into the limo, the driver quoted me another (higher) rate. I asked if this included gratuity, but he would not confirm. I had to call the 800 number again to find out what was going on. Basically he was trying to get an additional tip by not stating that the gratuity was included in the rate. Finally, on our special night, the driver was all up in our business since the cabin partition was defective. The limo itself was pretty old. All in all a horrible experience with this limo service. I highly recommend looking elsewhere!

I'm sorry I don't speak to good
I used this service on a friends recommendation, The driver and car had a very bad oder like he lived in the car and to top it off he kept talking on the cellphone the whole time from Manhattan to JFK hes was 15 minutes late and didn't get out of the car to help put the suitcases in the trunk.

I will never take or recommend this company again. EVER PLUS I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL WHO USE THIS COMPANY IN MY FIRM.
