Diablo Subaru, Walnut Creek by Paul C. at InsiderPages
Diablo Subaru repaired my 2000 Outback approx 7,500 miles ago - $8K in repairs to my engine, it was trashed due to a blown head gasket. I've never used Diablo Subaru before. I needed a dealership near my job. I wasn't impressed. The service was fair, one of the receptionist's needs customer service training, and the one week repair deadline turned into 19-days. My vehicle was not even washed and cleaned for me (as advertised and like most dealerships will provide) on pick-up. The loaner car I received on day 12 was filthier than my Outback. I did complain, however, the response was We are terribly sorry. We have been very busy. I guess that was to make me feel better. On my way to the Oakland Airport (7,500 miles later) on Independence Day, my Subaru began to overheat. I completed the trip with my windows down and my heater on to disperse some of the heat off of the engine. It worked with great discomfort to myself and the family members I picked up. I had it towed into Diablo Subaru on Sunday, the 8th for an appointment on Monday, the 9th. When I called in on Thursday morning, the receptionist appeared too busy to assist me with details and put me through to Paul at the Service Desk's voice mail. I left him a message and to get back to me sometime during the day. Ya think he returned my call? You guessed it! I didn't hear back on Friday as well. I'll let you know the details of the repairs.
