i enrolled my son there 2 weeks ago ,,, really for convenience becasue it was to and from work. My son really seemed to be ready for school. he was really excited about going to school and everything was running smoothlyBUT i should have realized that I had made the biggest mistake by the very 1st time i saw a child smaked another child. and the so called teachers or directors as they seem to call themselves...
didnt say anything to the bad child, except they took the child who was being abused and smaked continuelsy away from the situation. it was so upsetting however i thought it would be fine if my son stayed.. which he did .. and he was ok. UNTIL one day he came home telling his dad and i that the kids were laughing at him and he told the teacher and the teachers got mad at him !!! well the next day he was screaming and . begging me not to take him back to that school, I listened to my son .. and I talked to the director about the situation and she went on to tell me that if he didnt like the school for me to simply take him out" well I most certainly dld.!!! not only does my son hates that school he .. didnt learn a dam thing !
why ? becuase they play , and they go inside color and then eat lunch and play gain in the 3 item out door play area. !! and ... then after put to bed for 2-3 hours... !!! I cant believe i paid $130.00 for three 1/2 days and .. for what so he could sleep ... this plays really needs help
PLEASE PARENTS IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE AND WELL BEING DONT LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN THIS DUMP!!!!!
I MEAN .. MOST PLACES HAVE A KITCHEN,, WHICH THIS ONE DOES BUT ITS ONLY FOR STAFF USE .. AND THEIR MEALS ARE BROUHHT BY IHOP BUT THE PARENTS HAVE TO BUY THEIR FOOD. AND IF THEY TAKE THIER OWN LUNCH THE TEACHERS WILL NOT HEAT THEIR LUNCH .. TALK ABOUT WEHRE DOES NUTRITIONAL LUNCH STAND ... THIS PLACE IS RIDICULSLY . INSANE .. HORIIBLE PLACE TO LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN PLEASE DONT MAKE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE ...

My daughter has been with Devonshire since she was three months old and is now three years old. Thanks to the warm, fun, and safe environment that is created by the wonderful teachers, my daughter has mastered the tools that she will need to know for kindergartner and has moved on to learning even more each and every day. As the other reviewer mentioned, the school is a play based learning and my daughter has a wonderful time at Devonshire. The teachers and owners work very hard to make the families at Devonshire feel appreciated and involved in their children's school. As with most kids, my daughter would rather hang out with mommy and daddy, but when we drop in or pick her up, she is always having a great time at Devonshire. We are so lucky to have found this school!

This is such a wonderful daycare and school. The rooms and play areas are extremely well kept and have many safety precautions in place. My daughters have been there since they were 6 week old and we are very impressed with the amount of learning that has been/being taught. They are learning so much! It is more of a learning school than a play-based day care. They have great facilities and bring in special guests and have special events. The owners and teachers are great. I will surely miss them when the time comes.
