I've had a lot of dental work done by many dentists in my life. Went to see Dr Devine first time for tooth pain; abscess, cavity,etc. Only place in town I could Get an appointment immediately and I soon found out why. He wanted to pull the tooth and would not discuss any alternative treatment or his diagnosis. I didn't want to pull it because it helps hold in a partial. Tried to get him to discuss several times and his response was he already discussed it and didn't need to discuss anything else. Had to pay for that and xrays; no help with tooth or pain. Went to my M.D. and she gave me some pain pills and an antibiotic and fixed it fine. Still have the tooth and haven't had any problem with it since. When soon thereafter relating this occurrence with another medical professional, she asked me "it wasn't Dr. Devine was it" and related a story of bridge work he did for her that she had to have completely redone.
