This is a FABULOUS high-end RV Resort‎ - Desert Shadows‎ - This is a great place for a few days or longer. We first went in 2004 and have gone back every year since - longer each time. Top notch facilities and they treat renters like they do the owners, with full access and privileges to all facilities and events. They have some great weekly events like bike rides, shuffleboard, cards and a dinner or entertainment each weekend. Daily free exercise classes and many other activities. Free WiFi. I agree that this is a very nice park. The people are friendly and helpful and there is lots to do. There are 6 pools including an indoor pool. Restrooms/Showers are extremely well kept. Good free wifi. Renters are not restricted like they are in the Outdoor Resorts park next door. Highly recommended.‎

Desert Shadows RV Resort is an adult over-55 recreational vehicle resort located at the heart of the Coachella Valley, in Cathedral City, California. The grounds and buildings are immaculate and a lot of care goes into maintaining the resort to 5-star quality. There are a few permanent residents but most of the clientele are snowbirds who come to the park in winter. The rates are reasonable for a park of this caliber and there are many amenities that a renter can enjoy, including 6 pools (one indoor pool), jacuzzis, tennis, shuffleboard, billiards, exercise rooms, and much more. There are a number of activities that renters can participate in including card games, bingo, organized bicycle rides, quilting and other crafts..
