Service could have been better
When I realized that the self propell feature on my Honda Lawn Mowerw as not functioning properly, I thought I had to get it serviced.
I dropped of my mower for servicing at 'Derita Small Engines' place, but I forgot to explicitly mention that the self propell mechanism was not working right - It was working only in the first gear and on paved surfaces only.
I was told that as it was the busy season, it would take about two weeks before I could get it back , which was ok with me. When I got the mower back from the servicing, I realized that the self propell mechanism was still broke and I had to take it back. When I took it back the owner was very defensive about what happened and said that they would take a look at it. He then called me later that day to say that the whole transmission had to be replaced for about $180 dollars, when I had already spent $70 on servicing.
I was surprised that the full servicing of a mower does not include checking the self propelled mechanism of a mower. I expect better service if the service is going to cost me more than 12.5 % of the product cost.
