Dentists are not my idea of a good time. They are rummaging around in your mouth, its claustraphobic, its uncomfortable. While they are in your mouth you feel all of these bits and pieces of tooth swishing around in your mouth. The other thing is that suction tool , sucking your cheek , your tongue when you have no control because of that horrible Novocaine.I don't know why anyone would want to become a dentist, but I am glad that some people do. Having said all that I am really happy that I found Dr Sadev. He is really pleasant and takes the time to help me out with my dentals anxieties and fears. I never feel rushed there and always feel that he will take the time answer my questions, even if they are dumb or repetitive. His knowledge level is really up to date ( I know because I 've researched a few of the subjects before asking him ) and the office is very modern, with flat panel screens, digital xrays and all of that other jazz.

If you have any emergencies with your teeth, they always try to get you in asap; I should know I have had a few.

Going to dentist is not great fun, and I will never actually enjoy it, but Dr Sadev has made the routine of going to the dentist a lot more pleasant for me and any friends that I have recommended.

I needed a good cosmetic dentist in a hurry as my two front teeth were damaged in a basketball game injury. I made an appointment at Dentartiste and had a consultation wth Dr Sahdev. He was great, he explained everything to me and gave me several options . His gal at the front desk gave me a quote and I went for the treatment. Dr Sahdev did my front crowns and they turned out beautifully; better than I would have ever imagined.

The dentist and his staff were really professional, friendly and did great work. Now I am getting all the rest of my treatment done. The office was ultra modern and had all the latest technology. I have already recommended two other co-workers."

I went to see Dr Sahdev two months with badly infected wisdom teeth. The pain was so bad it kept me up for 2 nights. Dr. Sahdev was very thorough in his examination and put me on antibiotics right away. Two days later he extracted all four of my wisdom teeth. The appointment went great and I didn't feel any pain.

The next day he even called me to see how I was doing. No other dentist has ever done that for me. Since then I've had all my dental treatment completed by this dentist and I found him to be really gentle and caring. He has restored my faith in dentists, and believe me, I've had some pretty unpleasant experiences.

I've told all my family and friends about this dentist. He's great!
Pros : very caring, great dental work, good follow up
Cons : none!

The absolute worst dental experience I have ever had.

I just moved to this area and needed to find a dentist. I should start with the fact that I have dental anxiety and need a dentist who will go slowly and explain what s/he is doing at all times.

First appointment: He comes in 30 minutes late, even though his last patient left 15 minutes earlier. I explain that I have dental anxiety and he says "OK." He starts the exam....all in dental speak between his assistant and him. I stop him and I ask if he could tell me what he is measuring/what these MOL/DOL etc. terms mean. He says he can't do that. I'm starting to get even more nervous and I start crying (yes I have anxiety). I sit up straight and I tell him that I really need him to explain what he is doing/ talk to me in any other way to calm me down. He still doesn't get it and though he tries he does very poorly.

VERY poor bedside manner....but it gets worse.

I needed to go to the dentist because one of my teeth was bothering me and so instead of leaving at this point (which I should have done) I scheduled another appointment so that he could repair an old filling (that was giving me trouble) and since he could do it all in one visit, fix another filling that wasn't yet hurting but needed to be replaced.

He starts on the bottom giving me a special "localized" anesthetic that won't make my entire jaw numb. He DID NOT explain this before he gets out his drill. I immediately stop him and ask WTF....I'm not numb yet. He says that that is how this anesthetic works. He starts drilling and it HURTS. I STOP him again and I tell him that it hurts. He doubts me when I stay that it HURTS and tells me that he "knows how to do his job". He puts in more of the anesthetic that DOESNT WORK and starts working on the top tooth.

The top tooth was anesthetized correctly (not with the uber localized stuff) and I have no problem whatsoever with it. He then goes back to my bottom tooth and it HURTS. I finally CONVINCE him not to use his "special" stuff. He puts in an INSANE amount of regular anesthetic (the type that was used on my top tooth and the type dentists usually use) and I get through the entire procedure fine.

After the procedure he STILL doubted me when I said that the bottom hurt with the original anesthetic, "are you sure it was pain and not pressure/vibration?" YES!....and since he gave me such a large dose of anesthetic I can't control the ENTIRE half of of my face....I can't even BLINK. And this is 2 hours after the start of my appointment.

Basically avoid him at all costs. His office was empty and I got appointments for the next day (which should have been a warning). He is a terrible dentist and I don't wish the experience on my worst enemy.

Pros : The only good thing about his dentist was his assistant, Drey -- she is very nice and she is the only one who has any sort of bedside manner whatsoever.
Cons : Everything else
