My son recently had some fillings done at this office and while the doctor seemed nice enough and knew what he was doing, he has lost 4 customers in our family due to the incompetence and beligerence of his staff in the office up front. Particularly Kenya and Susan. We received a bill from them that said we owed them $250.00 for dental work. Our dental insurance pays 80% and then we had already paid our 20% at the time of service so we should have had a -0- balance. When we did not, I dug out the EOB from the insurance company and sure enough, they overcharged us. Upon calling them on the phone about this, Kenya proceeds to tell my husband that yes, in fact our insurance company paid 80% and then we paid 20% and then they bill us for another 20%. Helloooooooo, 80, 20 and 20 do not add up to 100%. So I take time out of my day to go up their to talk to Susan who is in charge of billing and she is already on the defense and is extremely rude to me and tells me that I'm being demanding and that they will not have time for at least 2 weeks to look into this. When I tell her that's fine, and that we will not be back as customers, she says fine and I leave. I then get a phone call on my cell not 15 minutes later from her telling me that she has gone through all my EOB's for the year, (we have only been there 2 times total) and that yes I'm right about that bill but not about another and that I owe her $3.00, yes that's right, $3.00. I tell her to send me a bill, I will pay it, but again, we will not be back as customers and she says "fine" in a tone and hangs up on me. Now, I don't know about you folks, but when I was in customer service, the customer was "always" right no matter how rude or obnoxious they were being because it was considered bad business to turn away any customer for any reason. Where did this policy go???? And to boot, I was not even rude or obnoxious to her, I merely went in there, showed her my EOB and asked that I not be overcharged. I did tell her that I did not understand the attitude and the rudeness toward me where upon she said it was my opinion. Fine, whatever, but I can tell you that the DOCTOR has lost 4 customers and I even wonder if it matters to him, because I think had a doctor been around and actually heard his staff with me, he would have been shocked to see this going on. And to have staff members answering the phone that clearly don't know what they are talking about is just plain stupid on their part. And to have a staff member call a customer and hang up on them is just "bad business". So, people, beware, I have never written a review before because I am just not that kind of person, but I think the public needs to be warned about this business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DENTAL DEPOT.
