I have had proffessional whitening done twice before in a dental office, and I never got the results I was looking for, until I went to Dental Arts. The hygientist, Kay, was so proffesional and she talked me through everything she was doing, being ever so gentle and carful. The results are beautiful, super white, sparkling teeth. My first appointment at Dental Arts of Portland was the first time I had been to the dentist in over eight years. I had delayed scheduling because just thinking about someone working in my mouth filled me with anxiety. Thankfully, from the moment I called the office my fears started subsiding. The receptionist was friendly and took great interest in me and assured me that my comfort is a top priority for all dental services. The hygienist, Kay, and Dr. Mazurenko were amazingly gentle during my cleanings and fillings...I didn't think it was possible to go to the dentist and not have pain! I no longer have to dread my appointments, and actually look forward to visiting with the staff. It feels great to be back on track, caring for my teeth!‎

Before I went in for my consultation, I felt very self-concious and ashamed of the condition of my teeth. I decided some time ago that I was going to get healthy and change my life, so a new smile was one of my first projects. To my surprise, Dr Mazurenko and his staff were so gracious and knowledgable. They showed me many options that I could work with to fit my budget. If you could see me before and after, you would never believe it. I am completely satisfied with the color, shape and overall appearance and Dr. Mazurenko always asked for my opinion throughout the whole process. My experience with Dental Arts of Portland is remarkable. I saw the kiosk in the Maine Mall, and decided to give it a try, I hadnt been to a dentist for quite a while because my prior employer didnt offer dental insurance, but now I have it so I was hoping to find someone to go to for a very long time. I have definately found the right place. The people are so nice and informative and the office was really clean and smelled so good (not like the childhood memories I have of the dentist office). Dr Mazurenko is a young and vibrant man with all the knowledge and compassion that any dentist should posess. This office has the potential to be the only dentist office I visit for the rest of my life. I was also impressed to learn that he does a vast array of procedures in his office instead of sending me to a specialist, for example, he performs implant surgery, gum surgery, extractions and root canals. I am extremely pleased with my new, straight smile. I had taken my time consulting with dentists in the area and decided on treatment at Dental Arts of Portland. During my initial appointment with Dr. Mazurenko, I was impressed by how much time he spent listening and answering my questions about porcelain veneers. He was able to show me many examples of before and after pictures of smiles he's improved, which allowed me to see in advance the quality of his work. Since I liked the color of my teeth but not the shape of my front teeth, I was primarily worried about the veneers blending with my existing color. Dr. Mazurenko perfectly matched the veneers with my other teeth and my smile looks straight and natural...how I've always wanted it!!
