I became a fortunate and grateful patient of Dr. Mazurenko at Dental Arts of Portland when I moved to Portland more than six years ago. I was a very hesitant, cautious, and scared patient with many issues that needed to be addressed. Today, I am with excellent oral hygiene and someone who actually enjoys going to the dentist. I had to have multiple crowns; fillings changed and taught good oral hygiene regimen. I have never met anyone with the compassion, skill, rapport, gentleness and patience that it takes to turn around the oral conditions that I had. All of this was accomplished with Dr. Mazurenko and his ability, along with his hygienist and staff, to make me comfortable and encourage me to do the right thing for my oral health without intimidation. I see Dr. Mazurenko every 6 months and it has been over 3 years now since I have needed any type of dental work done. I will go out of my way to remain his patient, he is just that good! I went in the other day for a cosmetic consultation and was very impressed with the way this office operated. Everyone there seemed to know exactly what their job was and no confusion as to whom was supposed to do what. There is a front desk woman and she greeted me and took care of the paperwork, then I was brought down to the operatory room by the assistant who helped Dr. Mazurenko take some pictures and do the examination. Then the assistant brought me to another room where Dr. Mazurenko came in to discuss in detail all of my options showing me pictures and examples of what could be done from a cosmetic aspect. Then, in came Rebecca again, the lady from the front desk, to go over all of the financial options with me. It was the most organized and well-tuned establishment Ive ever seen. I cant wait till I get my work done. I will definately post a review about my experience after my appointment.‎

My experiences Ive had with Dr. Mazurenko and his great staff have been none other than perfect. As a child I remember crying and screaming before having to go to the dentist, now I almost look forward to it. Its all about me when I go there for cleanings or restorative treatment.I get treated very kind and they are so gentle.My mouth was a mess when I started going there, now I have had some cosmetic work done along with numerous fillings and crowns and Im proud to say, that I am finally on the right track of having a healthy mouth. Ive been going to Dr. Mazurenko for several years and I just wanted to write a few nice words just to express my gratitude for the wonderful treament Ive received. Above all, he always wants to make sure that his patients are happy and safe and comfortable. My children love to come to the dentist, even when they are having fillings, because they dont ever feel any pain and he makes them feel like they are the most important thing to him when they are in his chair. Its the most comforting feeling to know that he really cares about how you feel and that all dentist visits are a positive experience. His staff is so kind, gentle and knowlegdable, you can tell there is a lot of time and emphasis put into the care of their patients.‎
