Great time on a spectacular boat. Of course, given the fact that we saw an adult fin whale, several dolphin pods, and some seabirds, that greatly influence my feeling of the overall trip.
Pros : lots of wildlife and a very unique way to view them from the deck of a replica of a historic vessel
Cons : crew kept incorrectly identifying Common Dolphin as Pacific White-Sided
loved the whale watching trip!! We had sooo much fun and a great experience. All of the crew was nice and very knowledgeable. We saw 2 hump back whales and they breached several times. They were very playful, swam close to the ship, and even waved us good bye. lol. The ship was beautiful and had a great time.
Pros : smooth sailing, great crew (even got to help raise the sails!), and saw whales!
A great experience for the whole family, the kids enjoyed the Maritime Museum facilities as well as the ability to move freely about this huge schooner...they met other kids as did we make friends with another couple. The sailing was awesome, we saw 3 whales and a bunch of dolphins and the crew...particularly 'Al' the whale guy was very informative and entertaining.
Pros : Big boat, no seasickness, BYO lunch and alcohol, perfect family sail experience
