Amazing Experience - go for the cupcakes!
I would easily say this is exceptional. In service and product. The chocolate chocolate cupcakes are heavenly. Delilah Bakery far exceeds the chain places like Magnolia Bakery in NY and Sprinkles all over CA. The decor is so great too if you were to eat there instead of taking it to go. Also, the customer service is above and beyond most places in LA. It really made a huge difference in my experience. I would easily recommend Delilah Bakery to anyone.

This is THE place to get your cupcakes!
I LOVE cupcakes. LOVE. (Do not mistake this for LIKE.) Very different. I have eaten many cupcakes in my day...and the cupcakes at Delilah Bakery are AMAZING! So fresh, I think they bake them every morning. They are very homemade tasting, not like the sugary frosting ones you find at some other places. I highly suggest the red velvet and my personal favorite, chocolate with orange jack daniels frosting. I have been ordering them for every birthday party, BBQ and baby shower I've been too lately and everyone really enjoys them! (They also deliver special orders all over LA!) A word to the wise, get there early or you might miss out. They sometimes sell out by the afternoon, especially on the weekends.

Yum!
This is a great addition to the neighborhood! A pleasant setting with super-friendly service. I've made several stops here and already suspect that it may be habit-forming. Everything I've tried has been delicious. My first visit was during the AM hours, so I ordered a carrot muffin and a yogurt parfait. Both were yummy, but the carrot muffin was stand-out good stuff. Moist and flavorful, not overly sweet. Based on that experience, we decided to leave with a box of chocolate chip cookies for later (see earlier mention about 'habit-forming'). I've since tried the S'more Brownie (decadent), the whiskey bread pudding (amazingly good) and yes, more chocolate chip cookies. Already looking forward to future visits!

very happy indeed
i went to this bakery on opening day because a friend lives in the neighborhood. clearly everyone was very excited that it was opening because there were people everywhere. some people may think that is not a positive thing, but i like to see that other people are feelin' the love too, so i was more inspired to try something here. the place is adorable, the staff really nice and i was pleasantly surprised to see mac and cheese on the menu! i mean, could i be any happier than with cake and mac and cheese? i think not. i got the coconut cake and it was so yummy. they were out of mac and cheese, but trust me when i tell you that i will be going back to try that...and maybe some more cake too. :)

Great Food with Hospitable Service
It's becoming much tougher to find a place in LA where the staff actually cares how the customers feel. It doesn't get any less pretentious than this. The charming, little bakery has a very nice decor, friendly service, and darn good sweets. I've been in a few times and have tried cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. They were all very tasty, fresh and moist. I will definitely be going back for more. It's also nice that they have lots of outdoor seating.
