i shopped around to about 6 stores until i got to MJ flooring in San Marcos
they greeted me at the door, answered ALL of my questions, showed me an outstanding selection, and gave me the better price than the previous stores that i had been to
their measurements were exact and the job was finished it looked amazing
i honestly can say their installations are the best

mj flooring center and design in san marcos helped me so much I'm so grateful to them. When they say satisfaction guarantee, boy they really mean it. After shopping up and down the 78 fwy for flooring , I decided to go with mj flooring center and design. They had the best ideas about designing my floors in my home. I needed my whole house to be redone. we started with our wood floors and carpet and then moved on to counter tops in our kitchen and bathrooms. Since it was such a big project i needed a lot of help designing , thank god I went into mj flooring because they had some great ideas. I also find out that they had the best selections on wood, carpet, and the design ideas were excellent. I priced them out ,they had the lowest price in town. As a matter fact, their competitor, couldn't come close to their prices. what impressed me the most about mj flooring, was the customer service. after getting all my floors installed, my daughter did not like the color of carpet i choose for her for her room, and when i received a call from mj, about how my experience was with them. Of course I said I had a great experience with them and I love my floors, but my daughter was not too thrilled about my choice of color for her room. The owners called me back and asked to bring my daughter to the store and have her chose another color, and that they would install it for her at no charge to me. I was blown away by the service that they presented to me. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MJ FLOORING CENTER AND DESIGN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. I am so happy that my wife is happy.

My fiancée and I have been remodeling our kitchen on our own. For whatever reason, we seemed to overlook re-doing the floors; probably because we thought we could do it at the end. A day or so before we were about to install our cabinets, we realized it made more sense to do the floors before we did so. Needless to say, we were nervous about how long they would take and how much it would delay our schedule. We didn't have a sink at the time and wanted to get those cabinets in!

We visited a flooring center in San Marcos to look at cheap and quick floating floors and weren't that impressed. The next day I called Nick at the MJ Flooring Center & Design and he quoted me a great price on ceramic tiles over the phone, and said they could install them the same week. We assumed ceramic tiles would be expensive to install, but not at all! I did a lot of research on other installers, and MJ Flooring’s price was better than all of them, and was also the only one that could do an install sooner than two or three weeks out.

We went into the store and Nick remembered me from the phone immediately. He showed us some tiles, then left us alone to compare and contrast, checking in every once in a while to make sure we were okay. He helped talk us through our final decision and made a great suggestion on a grout color. We had an installer out two days later and beautiful new tile floors by the end of the week. They look great and we're so happy that we found Nick and MJ Flooring. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do tile floors.

I had a great experience at this design center. I read the other post and was very suprized. I went with this company because I saw my friends home before and after and they did incredible design work. It was way more than just flooring. I remodeled my entire home. We did bathrooms ( our master looks like a spa), our Kitchen countertops and backsplash, which was all custom cut stone in a pattern, and all our floors (hardwood, carpet, and stone). The overall price was very competitive. We got 3 different bids and this was the most we could get for our money. They offered us more elaborate design for less than any other company. The customer service was great and I loved the installers.

This was really the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. I've purchsed 3 new homes in my lifetime and this was the worst experiance I've had with a contractor. Initial price quote was 50% lower than the final price. The time frame was 3 times longer than they estimated. Materials were delayed and some were never installed because they said they no longer were available after we had a contract with them.
