I recently got married and I picked out my 3 bridesmaid dresses and shoes from David's Bridal. The dresses at the time were $99 and then the shoes plus to have them dyed to match my dresses was $54. I am told to come in and pick up my dresses and shoes and so I do. The dresses are handed to be ripped!!! I am furious because the sales lady just says "well yea, they have discontinued this dress because they are poorly made!" If they are that badly made then why did they let me buy it? So we find another one off the salesrack and THAT ONE WAS RIPPED as well!!! Unbelievable. So with the wedding in a week - I just let alterations fix the dresses (2 of them!) and then ask for my shoes. I was informed that they forgot to do them! Ugh! So now its 6 days until my wedding. We get the shoes later and the girls feet are still dyed red from them and it is now 10 days AFTER they wore them at the wedding. This is just awful service and quality. It has also been a pain to talk to anyone about my complaints and getting a refund for at least the shoes.
Another issue - come to find out the dresses went down in price RIGHT after I bought the dresses - from $99 to $72. Now I should be able to get a refund of $27 and a refund of $54 for the shoes that are ruined and can't be worn again.

David's Bridal - I will continue to write bad comments about you as well as tell everyone I know NEVER to buy from this company. I want a refund NOW.

When I went to the David's Bridal store, it took a good 30 minutes to have someone help me. They then hand you a bustier and then expect you to come back out of the dressing room wearing only a bustier while they show you dresses. There are mirrors everywhere and anyone in the store can see you. The lack of privacy bothered me.

After telling the lady what I was looking for, she kept bringing me stuff I wasn't looking for. Then she brought me something fabulous! At first, I loved my dress. I tried on one that was a size smaller at the David's Bridal store. The salesperson assured me one size up would be perfect for me. I purchased it in April. It finally arrived in July. When I went to my alteration appointment, I tried on my dress for the first time. It did NOT fit! It was NOT the measurements I was told it would be. Also, the material is very thin. You could see my bustier through the dress. So then the David's Bridal alteration consultant decided that she could put in the corset in the back and make it all better. After going to my alteration appointment, they quoted me $253 worth of alterations for the bustle, letting out, and corset. YIKES!! No way!

I decided not to pay for alterations and my dress is now on ebay. I ended up buying my dream dress from a discount outlet online and paid the extra $100 for rush shipping. My wedding is next month.

I wouldn't deal with David's Bridal again.

I was treated like I was one of a heard when in this shop. The prices might be low but the service & quality sacrificed are not worth it. Additionally, when filling out the papers I was assured that the information was not going to be given to any companies EXCEPT David's Bridal. This was false. My information was sold and I continue to get calls and emails from vendors 3 months later. I had to deal with the corporate headquarters to have my information removed.

The people are rude and act like you are bothering them when you ask them a question. And forget about returning ANYTHING! They do not take returns...for any reason. I tried to return a pair of shoes 48 hours after buying them. Never even put them on my feet and they would not take them back. The Sales Associate did not tell me about the no return policy. The manager was rude and had poor customer services skills. I also had to wait almost 30 minutes for service. This store is a chain with polyester dresses - stop acting like a fancy bridal boutique with attitude. This store is a joke and I will never return.

They have a great choice of dresses but the service was a little slower than I expected. The consultants were knowledgeable about the dresses and did a good job of trying to match me up with what I described.
