I visited there this past weekend and was really impressed with the family friendly atmosphere. There is nice lookout over the city of Louisville. The Louisville Mounted Police house their horses there at the park. They allowed my family to walk through their barn and pet the horses. There is a huge amphitheater as well that has been newly renovated. Very nice park.

This is truly one of Louisville's best maintained parks.It offers lots of things for the entire family to enjoy such as hiking,biking and horse trails and lots of picnic areas.The ampitheatre is truly a wonderful experience for the entire family

This is an all around terrific park. It is kept very nice and has LOTS of things to do including an ampitheatre, golf course, hiking, bike trails, horse trails, frisbee, a pavilion, playgrounds and it even has an overlook of the whole city. There are tons of things to do here and there is always an event every weekend like old car shows, musical festivals and frisbee tournaments. There are several places you can hold parties, including two pavilions. There are also 2 sets of tennis courts, one at the bottom of the hill and one on the top. There are gazebos, another playground and another pavilion also at the top of the park. There are 2 basketball courts as well. This is a great place for the whole family!!
