i have made several purchases at daves. they have always delivered my furniture promptly and professionally. prior to making my most recent purchase i visited 8 other stores and daves had the lowest prices when comparing identical items. daves was the only store that could deliver the same day and they were also the only store that offered free delivery. ashley home store charged 79.99 to deliver and rooms to go charged 139.00 to deliver.

Daves Discount Furniture is very overpriced for their items and, the items are very low quality. For instance, my husband and I were looking to purchase a dining room table. We found one that we really like with a leaf and 6 chairs. The quoted price was over $1,000.00 and, we told the sales rep that we would look around at other places first. We went to other store and Daves were the highest price of all that we visited. Also, we noticed that the other table and chairs at the other stores were a better quality. I'm really surprised that he is still in business but, when you own just about all of Burlington what do you expect. He also has a TV commerical that has his little girl saying Please buy furniture from my Daddy and for that I will NOT go back!

Daves definitely has lower cost furniture but it seems to be slightly lower quality as well. They seem to have a pretty good selection though and get new things in all the time. The staff seems friendly and helpful. And there is plenty of parking. Be careful when you go though because they are closed certain days of the week.
