I was really impressed with the knowledge the staff and owner have. The variety of dance products this store has versus many other dance stores in the surrounding areas. I came from Long Beach just to order some pointe shoes for my daughter. They take the time to know what it is you are looking for.

I like Dance Threadz over the other HB dance store. The store is small but really has all you need. The lady who runs it seems so knowledgeable as do the salesgirls. My daughter likes going in there because it is decorated sweetly. You get the feeling they have the store because they love dance, not just want to run a business.

Dance Threadz is a great store for ballet supplies. They really take the time to fit your dancer correctly which is crucial, especially in pointe shoes. If you find yourself buying a specific item regularly, they can put you on a revolving order system so you never find that the shoes your dancer needs for the show this weekend are out-of-stock. They will even coordinate with local studios and schools to ensure teacher determined items are on hand when you need them. Plus, Mary Lou really knows dance in HB and is a resource as well as just plain interesting to talk to.

Dance Threadz at Springdale & Heil is our favorite dance store. They keep loads of sizes and styles in stock. Mary Lou, the owner, is very supportive of local studios and non-profit dance companies. Great pointe shoe fitting and friendly staff.

Every time I go to get my daughter's dance shoes, which is often, they always have what I need in stock (and sometimes I need it for class or rehearsal for that week). The owner is very helpful and knowledgable about apparal as she had a dancer growing up as well.

The shop is small but well stocked. I would highly recommend them for any of your dance needs.
