Read the previous review, a good shop doesn't have to be a clean room, and I actually value shops like this one. I have had both my truck & SUV serviced there and had external cooler with a shift kit installed. Works perfect. Great work on automatics, on my manual vehicles I do the clutch work myself, but with automatics I leave it to the Pros. Especially to flush out the auto trans, installing shift kits, and etc.

I have found my shop where I will refer all my family & friends. The owner is a great guys and reasonable. I personally won't take my cars to a shop that is the cheapest but at least reasonable in price. Any shop will/can make mistakes but a good shop will be humble then be willing to look into an issue. Not that I have had one but I am 100% certain they would do the needful.

Now an Amsoil dealer, uses the best shift kits on the market (e.g. Transgo), and great service. It can't get much better than that. I've done a lot of racing to date, Amsoil is the best out there, and raced in the deserts of Baja, Dakar, and Nevada. When engines can run over 250/300F for many miles because of a damaged oil line and when tearing down the engine shows no wear at all. I was sold! Even CORR Racer S. Douglas races with 330F and having the same results. When any shop uses/offers Amsoil, you know they know their stuff!!

I took my son's 88 IROC Camaro in for transmission oil change and diagnose of hard shifting. I was told by owner that the 5 speed needed to come out and be rebuilt, estimate $1,200.00. Being questionalble of owner and a mess of a shop, we took the Camaro to Auto Tech on Campbell. Diagnses, clutch needed to be replaced. Camaro shifts fine now. Just for comparision, I contacted VM Transmission in San Jose. To do the same rebuild would cost $800.00. I will never do business with Dale's Transmission. Beware!
