Shelly was fantastic. This was a wonderful experience, she was very caring about our project, our property and our needs. The painters were fantastic, they did a GREAT job. I would highly recommend DABS to all my friends and family

The owner Actions Louder than Words
The words not to be trusted of the owner of Dab’s Painting, she painted a pretty picture with her words and promises .All her enthusiasm was for her own selfishness . To increase her income; not for the quality and care behind the work.
The power washer's hoses were broke upon arrival at the job site. She advised us bleach and brushes were provided to the guys (her words not painters) to manual hand clean (her words not wash) all surfaces, including chimney; because she could not provide another power washer.
The price paid for the paint job did reflect work for power wash, the owner refused to adjust the price. The agreement called for use of power wash on my home and Shelly the owner made her own decisions to breach agreement of sale .The change of plan to clean by hand all surfaces was not presented to the client, us. To accept these change because no revision was made to contract. Shelly refused to revise the contract. This behavior in not acceptable, it is deceiving and bluntly false pretenses of quality .
Another complaint, The front door needed to be re-stained due to fading from sunlight exposure, was not sanded. Rough to the touch and surface appearance was curled up peeling stain same status as before job performed. Re-trip to stain a second coat to the door; and totally ruined the brick on the porch, stain was spilled on brick and not cleaned up immediately; therefore the brick porch is permanently damaged. The owner advised us after the work was performed the charge for staining the interior of door is $150.00 and that price was not included on the invoice for the job done. This was her consolation to us in explaining the poor workmanship. The entry door was not removed from the doorway it was worked on where it hangs. The owner Shelly did not adjust price of job and refused to compensate for the damages because she is out of town with a sick aunt. Her uncaring responses to the spillage of stain on the porch brick was unbelievable, her only care was to collect the check .
This mess is a huge mess seen as soon upon arrival to the entry of home, very unappealing, ugly sight. An ugly sight from inside upon exiting the home; an ugly sight left forever, by this person Shelly Russo. Protective measures were not taken to cover the ground floor where paint or stain could spill .
Another complaint, the front wood trims to garage doors were not prepared properly and there is still peeling and bare wood visible, the caulking around garage doors was not replaced. The old caulking not removed and price adjustment not made. Cannot walk the talk, like the saying goes Money Comes and Money Goes, a thief in the night Shelly the owner of Dabs Painting in Katy, Texas is not to be trusted. Where is the integrity? None in existence within her stance but she did insinuate we did not want to pay.
The job was done in December and 4 weeks later she cannot close the deal. Her motto is will not collect until customer is satisfied, but the retouches, re trips were not completed nor satisfied. Shelly paints a pretty picture with her words. Dab's painting received the job over two other paint companies because of her interview, she did an impressive interview and blindly deceived us the homeowner, the consumer of her services, the provider to her income and stability in this economy.

Shelly Rosso was FANTASTIC. She made suggestions that saved me hundreds of dollars. I added to the scope of the work and she charged me a fair price for the additional work. Her painters are skilled and courteous. I would HIGHLY ...
