Great place to go for a wide selection of board games
My boyfriend and I love playing board games. There are only a few places to go around here that have the wide selection of games we're looking for. While scoping out the local comic shops, we asked if there were any places to go for games and someone recommended D&J. We were amazed when we walked in the door. Their selection is outstanding (and i'm not just talking about board games). Every time we have gone there the employees have been really helpful and have even helped by looking up a game to see if they could get it for me. We have and will continue to recommend this store to our friends.

I loved the store the minute I walked in, but as soon as i found what I was looking for, an announcement came over the loud speaker stateing they were closed. No one asked me if I needed help, so I asked an older guy and he was rude about it. I asked if I was the last person in the store and he said "Yes and they won't wait for long," and walked away. He was very rude! I had no idea the store closed at 6:00 pm in the evening. Most working parents are just getting out of work . Not a good impression at all!!!!

They have it all! by Gail C. at InsiderPages
The first time you walk into D&J Hobby, it's almost overwhelming because they seem to have endless aisles of every hobby, craft, and toy item you can imagine. Once you wander around, you realize what a resource this store is. We've shopped there for everything from Perler beads to Yugioh cards, for D&D manuals to puzzles. This place should be your first stop for any hobby related need.

D & J Hobby and Crafts by Robin H. at InsiderPages
The first time my son walked in to D & J he said This is the place for me! They have everything including Thomas trains, trading card games, slot cars, electric trains, science kits, model railroad supplies and more! The only negative is that some items are a bit pricey. This is also a great place for adult hobbyists and crafters. They have a great, helpful staff. If you or your kids are looking for some fun, this is the place to go.

Profiling
Have been to this store many times, and I like the collection they have. The older guys (late forties and above) seems to have a very rude nature. They are very impolite in answering questions and tend to discriminate you based on your skin color. They simply profile you based on your skin and behave rudely, as I have seen them talk very politely with people of their type.

They constantly watch you as if you are some shoplifter or something. And once you leave the store they come running behind to the parking lot asking for your receipt. When asked why they discriminate; they claim, they do this with everyone even though I saw him standing behind the register and did not ask a single white for their receipts for the 30 minutes I was in the store picking up things. What do you call this?

Given the nature of the job they are doing, they should have that reaction, I guess. At this age, if this is all they do, they've to have a big 'L' tattoed on their forehead.
