Its because of Doctor Ivers that we dared to adopted so our pets, You LOVE your Pet's this is the place you would love to go from Hospital to the Hotel & the Grooming also the Daycare, while Dr. Ivers has always been very reasonable, he take so much Pride and he dose his work with diligence, he & his Staff have very good Heart, they are Amazing, Fantastic, Great, THEY ARE THE BEST. We had couple of emergencies and as always Dr. Ivers and his Staff took care of our Pets and comfort us at the same time. Also it was Dr. Ivers who discovered that our brand new baby Pomeranian was born with A DEFECTIVE KIDNEY and LIVER. If this Poppy would have never a chance to be examined by Dr. Scott Ivers, and be treated on constant basis, he would have been gone back to heaven by now. Thanks to Dr. Ivers; Johnny Boy is almost 2 years old, his Kidney and Liver has improved. There are no words that can describe Dr. Ivers care and dedications for his patients, and the joy he brought to our lives.
There are no words for the efficiency, honesty, care and Trust we have experienced personally for the past 6 years. ALL WE CAN SAY IS:

THANK YOU Dr. Ivers. THANK YOU Crown Valley Animal Hospital.
We just had to put our beloved Dog to sleep all because of the incompetence of DR. SCOTT IVERS
The nightmare began on Sunday February 1, 2009.
My Dog had been throwing up a brownish liquid type throwup for a few days.
I monitored his intake of food and thought it might pass.
Then that Sunday, there was plasma in his throwup which forced me to panic.
Since it was Sunday, our regular Veterinarian was not available, so I took him to the closest “Animal Hospital” which to my mistake was the Crown Valley Animal Care Center.
I regret ever walking through those doors.
When I arrived, I was glad that there was a Vet on duty and I was then told that they wanted to run some X-rays and to return in one hour.
When I returned, I was immediately charged $500 for the Office Call, X-rays and tests.
The Dr. (Dr. Scott Ivers) told me that my Dog was Anemic and needed a Plasma Transfusion and other tests and needed to spend the night for observation.
His Assistant then went over a 24 line item Invoice totaling $1,550 for the work that my Dog apparently needed.
I was then told over the phone that I had an outstanding Invoice for an additional $1,300 and that they could not proceed with the additional work without my authorization for payment for the Invoice.
I was then charged an additional $976.00 for additional miscellaneous work done to him without my consent.
He was given the “Treatment” and seemed to be doing better so we were relieved that he was finally able to come home with us. Not after another $588.00 for miscellaneous treatment.
I checked in on a Friday night to see how he was doing and was wondering what the charges were for his visit so far. Another $246.00 was the answer.
He said that he suspected that there was Internal Bleeding and that our dog required surgery.
I thought that he was to receive treatment for at least 2-4 days to get his body strong enough to have the surgery performed.
The next morning to my utter shock I received a call from the Receptionist stating that she once again needed my Credit Card number because our Dog was scheduled for surgery that morning. I refused to give her the number until I spoke with Dr. Ivers. He said that he was stable enough for surgery and that he was the first to be scheduled that morning.
My Wife went to see our Dog before he went into surgery and was shocked to see that he was not even responsive and he could barely lift his head or keep his eyes open.
Until then, I had full trust in Dr, Ivers.
Almost 3 weeks after his surgery and 2 weeks after we pulled him from the hospital, our Dog threwup for the first time since he’s been home.
My Wife noticed an object mixed in with his throwup and took it as a sample.
We immediately took him to our Vet and were shocked when he told us what it was.
It was a plastic IV tube Holder that was apparently dropped or left in his abdomen when the surgery was performed!
He ended up with massive internal bleeding from the surgery performed by DR. SCOTT IVERS and we had no choice but to end the 11/2 month suffering for our Dog.
PLEASE, PLEASE, if you really care about your pet which everyone that owns one obviously does, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
I do not want to wish what we’ve gone through to anyone.

Good experience
My dog became extremely ill overnight. My regular vet was closed on Sunday, so I called Crown Valley. Although they were totally booked, they squeezed us in because it was obviously an emergency. Dr. Ivers quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended an aggressive 24-hour treatment. Yes, it was expensive, but 24 hours later my dog was much, much better and able to come home. I am more than thankful for Dr. Ivers and the rest of the staff at Crown Valley. I wouldn't hesitate to take my dogs there again.

Don't give them your credit card! They are a Rip Off!
In January my Golden retriever got sick, and even though we have a Veterinarian. I thought getting her to a Animal hospital was best. Crown Valley was the closest. When you walk in with a sick dog they think oh boy how much money can we get out of this one, not how we want to help your dog. The charge for x-rays and diagnostic was high $600.00.I agreed and payed.
Dr. Ivers came in his un- professional nike sweat suit telling me that my dog had pyrometra, an infection of the uterus, but because it had not burst and her cervix was open it should be a fairly simple surgury, when I ask for the cost he ran out of the room saying his assitant does that for him
she says it will cost $1680.00, but assures me that includes everything , no additional charges she adds, except for any extra medication , which I paid an extra $40.00 for. so ok I agree because I love my dog., I noticed on the bill for the surgury that he was charging me for additional anesthesia before the surgury was even performed, but thats ok if it's needed I think.
I pick up my Dog and shes very lathargic, but I nurse her back to health through prayer, love and good food.
! month later I get a statement from there office saying they charged my card the day after surgury for $217.00 for more anesthesia, but Why didn't they call me and ask for my permission, or tell me when I picked up my dog that they had charged my card?
I told them they had no authorization from me and it was wrong, she agreed and credited my card. 1 month later I get statement saying I owed them $217.00 and they were taking me to collections. wasn't it enough to charge $2300.00 for a surgury my regular vet told me he would have charged under a $1000.00 .My Vet .told me that Dr. Ivers has a reputation for taking advantage of people with sick pets, It's all about the money. The charges were asorbant he said. Dr Ivers will not be getting $217.00 from me for charging my credit card without my authorization! And I will dispute this charge to whatever collection agency they turn this over to. How sad that there so inpersonal , that they have to do business this way.
