The Best Thing in Slidell
Whenever I bring my friends to the Club with me they can't believe that this kind of health club is here in Slidell, LA. They have it all - awesome group exercise classes, amazing childcare facility, great equipment and a really friendly and helpful staff. The locker rooms are better than the Ritz Carlton and the whole setting is totally upscale. It's great to be able to go get away or just get a quick workout - I feel like I'm at a resort when I come! I would recommend Cross Gates to anyone.

Cross Gates Health Club
I am pleased to have been a member of this club for over ten years. It consists of two facilities. One larger and more country club like location that includes two large swimming pools and tennis courts as well as a beautiful glassed in fitness center.. The other location is slightly more urban in setting with the accent on fitness, with resistance training and cardio.The larger facility has been the gem of the two, but since Hurricane Katrina's damage the fitness location has been restyled and enlarged aiming for a VIP workout experience. The grand re-opening of this facility is on schedule, I understand for summer 08. This is a first rate operation and I've always been treated well by the staff and ownership. Membership is not expensive considering the level of these facilities. PS.. the fitness facility is open 24 hours. I would not workout anywhere else on the North Shore, Slidell area. I am just a member and this review was not solicited by the ownership.... I just like the place!
