We used Crazy Dutchmen for our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Sand Dunes Club on Sullivans Island. Hans was possibly the friendliest and easiest vendor we worked with. The food was also fabulous. We had an oyster roast along with bbq, potato salad, baked beans, sweet tea, and assorted desserts. It was so nice that everything was set up and cleaned up for us. We didn't have to do anything! I got so many compliments on the food and especially on the baked beans. And unlike a lot of other caterers, we were able to take the leftovers home with us! I would definitely recommend Crazy Dutchmen to anyone and we will definitely use them again for future events.

We hired Hans and Karen for our wedding reception on Shem Creek, and we couldn't have been happier with the food and the service! After tasting a sample of what we had on the menu (whole roast pork, vidalia cole slaw, fresh tomato basil & mozzarella salad, shrimp & grits <---amazing, chicken kabobs, roast vegetables, fruit and veggies, crab cakes) we knew we'd found our caterer. The food is legitimately amazing, and we're still hearing rave reviews from our guests even weeks after the event. Their communication prior to the event was great, and we are just so appreciative of how hard they worked to make our reception such a success. You won't find better food and service anywhere, plus the prices they quoted us were very very reasonable. We will definitely hire them again soon!

My husband and I had a vow renewal in early October. We hired CDC for the event. It was amazing! Hans & Karen are wonderful! They are punctual, super sweet, and very talented chefs. We had beautiful pulled pork & chicken BBQ and an awesome oyster roast along with corn, gorgeous vidalia onion cole slaw, mashed potatoes, amazing slow-cooked chili. They went above and beyond our expectations! Everything was perfect. The portions were huge! All of our friends and family were totally thrilled with the food and presentation. We highly recommend CDC to anyone! They're fantastic!!!

I hired Hans and the Crazy Dutchman Catering Company for our rehearsal dinner at Folly Beach and they were nothing less than a joy to work with. As I am sure most brides know, it seems like every step of working with vendors is a major hassle and a headache. Not the case with the Crazy Dutchman! Hans was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Not only were his prices low compared to other companies, I felt like he really took the time to get a feel for our event and made great suggestions in the process. We had low country boil cooked on-site (some of the freshest and best I've had), bbq chicken that LITERALLY fell off the bone, some insanely great corn bread, and black beans and rice that every vegetarian (and even the non-vegetarians) in the place was raving about for the next couple days...actually, I am craving them right now. I highly recommend this company for any event if you love fresh food and friendly service!
