I visited Dr. Helm as a referral from my retinal specialist to take care of my cataract. He completed a thorough examination and I felt very comfortable with him to perform my surgery. My surgery experience was fantastic! Not something you normally can say about surgery. When I woke up, I had no visible signs of the surgery, no redness, bruising, pain or grogginess. I also could see perfectly. I was able to go our to breakfast right after the surgery. I will definitely return to him if I ever have to have cataract surgery on my other eye.

We were referred from a respected source to go to Dr. Helm. I believe he is thorough and has the proper technicians and equipment to completely give an eye exam, however, I feel a bit rushed through the process. We have a few different eye problems in our family and with that being known, I feel that he has the knowledge to deal with our situations, but I would prefer for Dr. Helm to go a bit deeper with his explanations. Overall, I believe we are receiving a thorough exam.
