Great views, but overcooked (!?) Halibut and Sea Bass!
Before dinner, my parents and I decided to have some cocktails in the bar. This may not have been such a great idea as service was slow and my martini, which was advertised as coming with "blue cheese olives" only came with a singular olive. Not a big deal, but when I pointed this out to the waitress she seemed very disinterested and said she didn't know what to tell me but that I could buy two more for a dollar. Had she seemed just a bit more concerned that might not have come out of her tip. However, the service in the restaurant was exceptional. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. However, both my halibut and my mother's sea bass were dry. This was really disappointing as I had really been looking forward to enjoying my locally caught fish. The sauces and sides made up somewhat as both dishes were very flavorful. Were I to choose again, I would go with the cioppino. Fresh seafood with just the right amount of spice. Very tasty. Overall, I was expecting much more. The Crab Catcher has a reputation for exceptional seafood, so when it is overcooked it is really disappointing.
