Overall: i really do not like cable companies. I feel like we pay way too much for such poor service. the internet is always going down, and the to get any of the channels i want, i have to pay for hundreds of others i dont. i understand that is how the game works. it is how they make money, but with that money, could they give us consistent service.
Value: until they show me why it is necessary to charge so much, i will stick with the "not great value for the price."
Service: they always come out to look at the problem but they never seem to fix it permanently.
Quality: since it is all we have in the area, i suppose it is fine
Pros: they will always come out to service for free
Overall: We've used Cox for a year now and are pleased. We can't switch if we wanted too though -- and sometimes I think we would.
Value: Make sure you're aware of what you're paying for. A lot of people sign up on great deals that last for 3 months -- and then are surprised when the deal changes and it's twice the price.
Service: They always are good to come fix something if the cable goes out. They got us set up in our apartment quickly.
Quality: I feel like the picture comes in clear -- we don't pay for the HD version, we just get it with our TV, so I bet that would make it sharper.
