Truely a Puppy Prison (Kennel) to Avoid
We left our dog there for a week. When we picked her up they ran her through a fairly dark room and out to our car while I paid. She smelled like she just had a bath, but that is because they doused her in deodorizer. She had urine all over her which I noticed about halfway home. When called and asked about the deplorable condition of the dog they commented that I had not paid for grooming and she was walked on a schedule. I tend to think that rinsing the urine off a dog who has an accident is part of basic care. I also believe my husband when he says they did not offer grooming as he called me from there to ask about authorizing an extra $5 a day for 20 minutes of playtime. This dog is kennel trained and does quite well in my home. I can't believe they left her in that state, and then had the gaul to say we were just mad about spending the money for someone else's dog. She is our family members dog, but they have been living with us for almost 2 years, and she has been with us since she was a puppy. The vet who recommended the kennel has been advised, and now I am posting this here for anyone else unlucky enough to stumble into them.
