One of the best things about this music store is that it does consignment on music equipment that you have and want to sell and get a reasonable amount of money for. This is a really convenient way to get some extra cash for instruments and such you no longer use. Why fool around with Craigslist when you can sell it this way without the hassle. The owner (Sam) really cares about his customers. You can tell by the special attention he gives to your needs. I bought my first guitars from him 20 years ago and am really glad I did. If you know what you want or want to consign a piece you already have, Sam can get it done for you.‎

Service is excellent, and the man in there is very nice. I have always been able to find what I am looking for.‎

Please avoid purchasing instruments at this store. I foolishly bought a new trumpet, and after two weeks of playing my son's teacher advised me to get another instrument because of its poor quality. The store had a "no return" policy which should have been a red flag for me in the first place.‎

This store has a great selection of items if you're learning new instruments, as I have. Additionally, he has a pretty good selection of theory and sheet music books if you're trying to learn music or new pieces. The owner is always friendly and very helpful. The only problem I encountered was that he is slow in processing credit card refunds.

Countrywood Music Shop has a lot of nice things. They sell musical instruments (not pianos, though) and books, they even do repairs and tunings on your violin, viola, guitar, etc. They will even replace broken strings for you! They have a small segment of parking. They are not expensive, considering what competitors charge for items. I wish they would move their store, though. It is so small!
