great service as well as wonderful cookies

I ordered my cookie bouquet online. After realizing it was too late for a Valentine's delivery I opted to pick the cookies up on my way home from work. After sitting for over an hour in traffic I arrived at 6 PM and I had to use the restroom REALLY bad. Since I had already paid for my cookies online i asked if I could use the restroom while they found my order. They said "NO", "You can go down the way to the Chicken restaurant...I think they have public restrooms". I felt insulted. I went down the way (in the same shopping center) doing the potty dance only to be told that they have public restooms for customers only, I turned and ran from there into the icecream shop next door and they thankfully let me use their restroom. I was almost in tears by this point. By the time I came back to the Cookie Design store I was p'd! (Not p'd on -thank Goodness-but p'd off!) I very calmly told the woman that I was very offended by the fact that I had already purchased and paid $60 for 5 cookies and wasn't even allowed to use the restroom. They responded by telling me simply that they did not have public restrooms and that is their policy. Some very young girl came from behind the counter and defensively shouted "what happened, what's going on?". I explained to her my dismay as well and she responded by rolling her eyes, smacking her lips and saying "what was your name again?". I told her and she then walked over to my bouquet snatched the receipt off of it and shoved it at me on the counter. Another woman who was helping someone else at the time walked over and told me that I could not use the restroom there because I would have to walk through their kitchen. I was insulted and offended all in one short trip to pick up some $60 cookies. I will never return and I will make sure that I tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. The cookies were okay...very nicely decorated but typical of this sort of business. Unfortunately it is all cancelled out by my bad experience.

Cookie Bouquet/ Cookies by Design is the best cookie company in Houston!!! I love their product and all their cookies taste great. I get deliveries from them all the time and they guarrantee delivery BEFORE 5:00pm for businesses every day but most of the time they can accomodate any request (if it's not a holiday--which is understandable). I would recommend this company to anyone and they even have a website to order from. Their service is great and they are very friendly. I wish all companies were as nice and helpfull as them!! I even used them during Valentine's day last year and they got my arrangement delivered around 12:30. They told me that they could not guarrantee a time but it got there with plenty of to spare! WOW! I was impressed! I have gone in to the store needing something right away and they accomodated me immediately and with fresh cookies. I LOVE Cookie Bouquet!

It doesn't matter how far in advance you place your order for a cookie bouquet to be delivered, it will be delivered really late in the day. Why bother? The delivery location is only 4 miles away and they can't promise a delivery before noon. It's almost 3 PM and still no delivery...when I call to inquire about it, the response is "it's out on the delivery truck". Evidently they accept more orders than they are able to handle. I'm not happy at all. Other than the delivery inconveniences, the bouquets are beautiful and tasty (judging from previous order)! Nonetheless, I told my husband not to order from there again. Roses will be fine.
