My mom started with Dr. Cooke when he was new and worked with someone else. She followed him when he started his own practice and has been through several pets with her. He is so caring and wonderful that he has helped her through the death of 3 older animals. I don't think anyone else could have done it better.

I personally take all of my animals to him as well. Every time I go I get the best and most caring service ever. Occasionally we will board our dogs at another vet (because my dogs are big and they need to be boarded in larger kennels) and have them do shots or prescriptions at another vet and I always get burned. I have decided that I will only board at the other vet and never request their vet services because Dr. Cooke is so much better.

I now take my dad's dog there as well. I recommend him to everyone who is looking for a good vet.

I love Dr. Cooke and his staff. I have two pit bulls and a chihuahua. When my female pit had her last litter she had a lot of problems. I went to another vet in town and had nothing but trouble (lack of care and attention, rudeness, overcharging, overly technical, and demeaning). Dr. Cooke saved my mother dog and her puppies. I have taken my other dogs there as well. My chihuahua just got fixed there and he did a wonderful job. He obviously cares for the animals he treats regardless of the type of animal. His prices are reasonable and he is always willing to work with you. I have never had a bad experience with him and as far as I'm concerned he is the best in Kern County. My parents now take there dogs and cats there and also really enjoy him and the care he provides their animals.

I have been taking my two cats and dog to Dr Cooke for about 7 years now he is an awsome pet doctor and is the best in kern county as far as im concerned he is always very polite with people and sincere when he must give bad news i would recomend him to all my family and friends jeannie young

Dr. Cooke is knowledgeable of the latest in veterinary care, and thoroughly discusses diagnosis & treatment plans. I'm looking forward to taking my future pup to Dr. Cooke as well!
