Plumbers who refuse jobs by paula e. at InsiderPages
We had a leak develop in the drain pipe underneath our upstairs toilet after a new fixture had been installed. We did not know that the leak was severe enough to cause the ceiling downstairs to come crashing down. We called Contro Bros. They sent a *plumber(who we found out was not a master plumber but an assistant) to check out the situation and from the moment the man took a look at the ceiling, and upstairs bathroom. He was telling us how busy they were on other jobs, and how they would have to rip up our floors but that they don't put them back in, and that they could not get the pipe from their supplier, and finally he said he would have to go back to his workplace and talk to his boss who would call us the next day. They never called us. 4 days later when I called them back, I was told to find another plumber as they were too busy with big jobs downtown. (the man who came over gave us an estimate in the high 11 Thousand area-we called another plumber who FIXED THE PROBLEM for 500 dollars and never had to rip up the floor) Contros' have lost any more business I would ever give them.
PROS: They sent someone over fast
CONS: Their lack of honesty.
