Connie's
They take poor care of their animals. We ordered fish for a wedding one day, and we took a look at the fish noticing they all had tail rot, some more severe than others, and ended up only taking home about three fourths of the fish we ordered. They came delivered in small cups, filled with fish waste. The lady there carelessly poored the fish in bags and shook them around while gesturing while talking to us. Besides this, another fish I saw while looking in the back was on its side breathing heavily. Another was a yellow tang that had some type of a white fungal disease covering his eye. I told the lady at the counter to take a look at them and why. I don't think she did. The birds in the back were constantly hot due to poor circulation and had no clean water and hardly any seeds which are the poorest diet for any birds. Other than the negatives, Connie's offers a large selection of food and supplies for your marine pet with friendly service. They have a fairly wide variety of salt and fresh water fish. They have parakeets, love birds, canaries, finches, and a few other kinds of birds. They have a small selection of reptiles including snakes and geckos. They come at a relatively good price, and I guarantee you will find what you are looking for, for your pet. They have many tanks ranging from about $50-$80 for every five to ten gallons. They have cages for small birds like canaries, parakeets and finches, all cages being thin-barred and at a good price. They have a small range of seeds and small, plastic toys for your bird. I would recommend them for being a fairly low priced store, and also being your only stop for your fish's needs.
