Speaking as a student...‎
In the beginning I heard a lot about Concorde being the only school of recruiting for "Kaiser" and "Cedars". Honestly, it was the ONLY reason I chose this school, because I was told that if I kept good grades and attendance, Kaiser would be recruiting and their starting pay is over $18 an hour. I kept up my end of the bargain, but Concorde did NOT keep up their end. IT WAS ALL LIES! Lies that were told not just to me, but several other people that I've found, for the sole purpose of asking them if they were sold this line of BS or was I just the lucky one?? The last two months of school we were out of the proper size gloves (imagine doing urine tests and blood draws without the proper size gloves?!?!). The director of the MA program kept on with the excuses about why. What a disappointment this experience has been. I'm presently completing my externship and let me tell you, even worse is the snippy and snotty Dora De la Mora. She's a piece of work, no ...

Concorde as a place to work
I worked for them as a Temp and i have to say that my experience was less than pleasant all the way from the bottom tothe dean of education. Their attitude was caddy and unprofessional!it seem like they forgot that every student that came through the door was the reason they had a job and got a paycheck!One of the receptionist seem like she was giving others Spiritual advice to co workers several times a day!always on the phone on personal calls and leaving the reception area like she owned the place regardless of the new students waiting!!! there were two girls that seem to have it together a Tamika and a Mexican girl that quit,she must of smell their BS!!!

Pretty Good education
I went to Concorde for their Medical Assistant program. You learn alot if you want. You have to do a lot of self teaching. The teachers really dont care, I know a lot of students that graduated and didnt even know how to do injections properly. It can be alittle disappointing when you go out in the world and then you only get paid $10/hr and have to do most of the work that the nurses would do. I would think twice about getting your education here, because none of the units count if you try to go back to school and you have to take these classes all over again at a new school.
