6. They just moved, but I went to the location on Rosecrans when they were there. I’ve never seen this place not busy, its that good I guess. They have a huge variety of good, homemade breads, you can see them making it in the back while your there so they are really fresh. I got focaccia and was really impressed, it just tasted really good. It had a very comfortable ambiance and I liked the little water bar they offered on the side. The prices are quite decent, you can get some breads really cheap, or you can buy a sand which for a little more but they looked pretty good too.

Can't believe Con Pane isn't getting better reviews! An absolute quick breakfast or snack favorite--everything I've had at con pane has been absolutely delicious to say the least! From fresh artisan breads to well-crafted specialty hot drinks(try the mexican cocoa) that compliment the either sweet or savory flavors, con pane breads are always fresh and delicious. While they may err ( i guess?) on the pricey side, the goods are huge and plates like the Savory Bread plate for around $3.50 basically total a half a loaf of bread with all of the gourmet pesto, feta, and olive oil you could want. Service does demand some patience yes but they are always packed so of course you're going to have to wait a bit! You can't rush excellence!

Amazing high quality and delicious sandwiches, really great fresh baked breads. The lunch line is out the door, they only accept cash, and there are limited places to sit. But if you're up for the early brunch or around for a late lunch, it is awesome.

I went to Con Pane off of a friend's recommendation. The cafe was easy to find but parking in the area wasn't. I drove around the block but found parking in the back in a no bakery parking space. I went there to get soup but found out they don't have any, but orders a half sandwich on their homemade bread. IT as pretty good but expensive. The prices are a little high but it's a non-chain bakery and you can watch the bread being made right before you. Don't forget to bring your cash-they don't accept credit cards.

This is a good one! It is sort of an upscale sandwich place, they even have a glamorous PB & J. Sort of crowded at lunch, but you can order and go. Seems a little pricey for a sandwich, but it is good.
