We hired Dan Hendricks of Complete Painting Plus through a recommendation of the Appleton Sherwin Williams on College Ave. Hendricks is an inexperienced painter who poses as a business. When we interviewed him, we asked if he would be doing the painting, how many years experience, how many people helping and a quote. He said he has over 10 years of experience and would be doing most of the painting with the help of one guy. Dan never showed up on the job. He sent over a few guys who dropped like flies within hours. We had purchased our own paint, a low VOC paint from Sherwin Williams at $43.00 a can. We had dark colors on our walls. We went through 9 gallons of this paint because Dan didn't know enough about painting or types of paint to instruct his guys or advise us that the walls would need a primer first.
