HORRIBLE!! BE CAREFUL OF THIS DJ MIGHT BACK OUT WITHOUT NOTICE

Hello, my name is Liz I live in Tucson Arizona and I am getting married October 3, 2009. Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to win a complete music dj package for my wedding at the Tucson Bridal Expo. I was very happy to have won this, since the music is such a big part of any wedding. I contacted Jason and we set up my date and told him we would get together later in summer to set everything up. Again, I put it aside and did not worry thinking that my music for the wedding was taken cared of. However, I was wrong, for the last month I have been trying to contact Jason and have been ignored. I have come to the assumption that I will have to look for another DJ that is decent in such short notice plus now have to budget the music back into my wedding budget. I feel that if you are going to offer services and a prize than you should live up to the commitment. I am sure that he got another job and that is one that pays and decided to ignore mine. I would have appreciated a return call.

We saw Complete Music at a bridal fair and they seemed pretty good. We received an invitation to an open house they were putting on so we could go and meet all of their DJs. We ended up requesting Jason who I guess is the owner. He was such a sweetie, he met with me three or four times to go over the planning of the event, since I'm kinda picky. At the reception I was blown away by how professional he was. He kept the whole reception on track without ever being pushy. He even helped me carry my plate from the buffet back to my seat so I wouldn't accidentally spill something on my dress. I told him we had alot of kids at the wedding so during dinner he took them aside and did the hokey pokey and some magic tricks to keep them out of trouble. The rest of the night went perfectly everyone partied and had a great time. Jason played all kinds of different music so no one felt left out. Jason really went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect.

My sister is getting married next year and she has already booked Complete Music.

I've seen decent reviews for this place, and I'm wondering what was so different with my wedding. Among other things, my DJ was late, he was rude to some of my guests, he mislead us about his bilingual abilities, and worst of all he didn't play any of the songs on the specific list I gave him---or even the genre of music I asked for. I let the company know afterward and didn't get so much as an apology.
