When my Jeep was involved in an accident, we called the closest auto shop that our Insurance company recommended due to the nature of the damages and drivability of our vehicle.
Community Auto Body recommended that despite having a broken front axle and body frame damage (bent frame) that the vehicle be fixed instead of totalled out.
We were told that the repairs would be done in a week and it ended up being almost 2 weeks before all the parts were in and they were able to complete the work on it.
When we did get the vehicle back, not all work was done, (windshield wipers didn't work, little stuff like that) so we had to return it again. It took a few more days for them to solve all the problems.
The Jeep never drove properly and despite taking it back 3 or 4 times, we could never get a good ride out of the vehicle again. They told us that it was just the way it would be and that we would get used to it. We didn't because the vehicle always seem to drive off center and to the right, no matter how many times it was aligned.
We ended up trading the vehicle in and getting a new car.
