In theory only those who are guilty get arrested, right? Not in my case – I was involved in a misunderstanding and arrested. After the arrest and subsequent efforts on my own to get the matter resolved I came to the realization that once you are in the legal system you have no choice but to work within it’s constraints and the only way to protect your rights is to hire an attorney to defend you. I was referred to William Cole and after my 1st meeting with Mr Cole was comfortable with him handling my case. The end result was that the DA chose not to move forward with the case and all records were sealed. For me this was a very unfortunate situation but it worked out as well as it possibly could have. I have no doubt that if I had gone with a different attorney that I would have had a significantly different and much less positive outcome. I never felt like I was just another case to him and there’s something to be said for that in this day and age.
