Upon arrival, the building had broken out windows. Once inside, the staff seemed very pleasant. However, our cat's checkup took place in January, 2009. While there, for our cat's (kitten's) shots and blood work, our cat resisted the staff's efforts to give shots and was given an anesthetic. We were later given paper work stating that our cat was in excellent health. Once home, our cat seemed to have a reaction to the medication. We contacted Cole, and they stated that this was normal. This reaction lasted for several days. About a month later, we took our cat to the humane society to be spayed. The Humane Society informed us that her reaction to the medication was not normal, and that Cole should not have given the anesthetic for shots to begin with. According to the Humane Society, this increases the stress that the cat experiences, which can be harmful to the cat, especially kittens.
In June, 2009, we received a call from Cole. They were inquiring about a $25.00 outstanding balance for medication. They then informed us that our cat had worms and that we had never picked up the medication. We did pick up the meds and pay our balance, however I will never take an animal back to this clinic.
Best of luck with selecting a vet,
Tom
