My children 18 and 14 were forced to put an anti glare feature on their glasses at 60 dollars each after the manager there insisted that it was part of their prescription and not a feature that they had the option to accept or refuse. Even after my 18 almost 19 year old said NO thanks to the feature and that she just wanted what the insurance covers with nothing out of pocket to her she was still offered the anti glare at 10 dollars less per glasses. and the manager kept on insisting that she needed to get it which she eventually agreed to because she felt trapped in a corner. I called the next day to have the feature removed from the order and was told that i could get a price reduction to 25 dollars per pair then the manager called me back and said the glasses are ready for pick up and that there was nothing she could do about the cost of the anti glare which cost me 100 dollars. The manager was very rude on the phone and kept on insisting that she didnt badger my daughter into accepting the anti glare..even though she kept on saying that the doctor recommended it and it was a feature on her previous glasses. While my daughter kept saying that she didnt need the feature on this new glasses because she wears contacts and only use the glasses indoors. Such an unfair situation. Seems like everybody is out to make a quick dollar on the weak by intimidation or what ever means necessary!
