So...after a half day at a lovely beach, whose location I will keep secret, this place was highly recommended by someone from the beach. We had a great lunch, totally enjoyed the garden and gecko activity. It's a wonderful place to take a break from the fabulous Ahi available on the island, and just enjoy the Rueben. Also recommended is the Lilikoi Cheescake...not a true cheesecase, more of a chiffon, but a nice dessert to finish off a group lunch (we shared amongst 6 of us, and it was PERFECT.

A great place to stop on your way to Volcano Park. The view of the ocean is fantastic. There is a gigantic avocado tree in view and the coffee trees are plentiful.The facility is clean and the staff friendly, but sometimes slow, but after all Island folks aren't usually in a rush. The baked goods are tasty, especially the cinnamon rolls.You can purchase a sandwich for lunch at the Volcano National Park.

Wow! What a place to relax and have breakfast. The views over the bay are indyllic. The food is delicious and presented fabulously. I ordered their fruit plate and it was stunning! The coffee was good and the people were friendly. This place is a "must stop" if you are traveling to the big island. Would be a great stop for breakfast as you head to the volcanoes from Kona....(Grab some chocolate chip cookies for the road!)

Luncheon in Heaven: Imagine sitting out on a country porch looking down at a wonderful jungle directly beside then below then dropping 1000 feet down to a tropical ocean, with a tropical sky. Then add good food and company.

Always try the special!: We ate there twice on our recent trip to Hawaii - for lunch both times. First, the place is small, and not fancy, very laid back in fact. And their dining area is on a back patio with a spectacular view of the bay about 1000 feet below. Sandwiches come on your choice of freshly baked bread, including exotics like their "luau" bread. Their desserts are divine, and if there's any key lime pie in the case, you'd better reserve it as soon as you see it - it goes REALLY fast. On our 2nd visit, they had just gotten some Ono and added an Ono sald and Ono sandwich to the menu. That sandwich was the best Ono I had during my entire trip. I can't recommend this place enough!
